In an international co-production five authors from India, Canada, Northern Ireland, Norway and the USA produce a film together with five young film makers from Lower Saxony as part of a seven-day film workshop.
In teams of two (author / film maker) they will produce a 5-minute film, each.
Each film is based on a poetic text of each author.
Lauren Hilger (*1985), New York
Lauren Hilger was named the 2012 Nadya Aisenberg Fellow from the MacDowell Colony. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Black Warrior Review, Harvard Review Online, and Sonora Review, among other journals.
Elisabeth Sylvia Charbonneau (*1983), Montréal
Her works comprise photography, graphic arts, interactive art installation, poetry.
Sharanya Rajgopal (*1986), Mumbai
Screenplay writer. Radio presenter.
Stian Aleksander Uvaag (*1990), Oslo
Student in sociology at the University of Oslo. Attended Forfatterstudiet i Bø, school of writing 2012/2013. Short texts published in Filologen 04/2013, Kamilla & Sirkuset and an anthology.
John D’Arcy (*1988), Belfast
Poet, Sound Artist, Composer, Performer, Producer ; studies at the Queen’s University Belfast (Area of Research – Poetry and Sound). Publications a.o. : ‘Laganside – A Mobile Poetry Experience in Belfast’ app launched for iPhone and Android smart phones : designed and created app, including production of film and audio poems.
